Consultora de alcance mundial centrada en servicios a medida para la gestión de riesgos meteorológicos, climáticos y socioeconómicos.
Aerthydral Collective is the not-for-profit organisation of the Alisios consortium, dedicated to socio-economic and environmental intelligence in the public interest. It works only with public and multilateral counterparties.
The name. Aerthydral is pronounced simply “Earth”. It joins air (aer), earth and water (hydro), the parts of the Earth system we work on, with Collective, for the human society whose decisions depend on them.
Decision assets are critical infrastructure. The data, models, indices, licences, platforms and expertise a state’s decisions rest on should be inventoried, governed, and protected the way bridges and grids are.
Decision Anatomy: what happened in a decision chain when a shock hit, and why. Its instrument, the Decision Trace, is free, standardised and no-fault, modelled on aviation accident investigation.
Trigger: whether the thresholds that start action are set where the evidence says they should be. Instrument: the Trigger Review.
Critical Decision Assets: the data, models, indices and expertise a state’s decisions depend on, and how they are governed. Instrument: the Decision Asset Audit.
Diagnose, never specify. Aerthydral inventories decision assets, diagnoses failures in decision chains and publishes its methods and findings openly. It does not draft terms of reference or technical specifications, sit on evaluation panels, advise on specific procurement procedures, or recommend or rank vendors.
Each of our programmes asks one of them, at a different point of the same decision chain.
